Warranty
Because of the type of product we supply we cannot provide a warranty return service once the product has been opened or used. (Once placed into water there would be nothing to return!) If you are not satisfied with the results, however, do please contact us for advice on the number shown below.
GREEN LIGHTNING
This product has been designed to specifically treat Blanket Weed which are algae classified under the general heading of Spirogyra.
While we can give no guarantee that the product will remove your Blanket Weed infestation, we know that it will in most cases.
Splendid Products Ltd will not be held responsible for any damage to flora or fauna caused by the use of their products and customers are advised that although the products are deemed safe for use within the normal parameters encountered in ponds and lakes, they use these products entirely at their own risk and discretion.
Customer expectation should be in line with pond or lake management and if the condition of the water is poor then Green Lightning will either not work or will take a longer time to do so.
It is essential to make sure that your pond is aerated either by an air stone, fountain or water fall. In hot weather ponds evaporate quickly and the oxygen content can be reduced to the point where pond life can be all but asphyxiated. Toxins in the water also increase as water evaporates.
It is advisable in prolonged periods of dry weather to top up your pond with water. Normal tap water contains chlorine as a disinfectant and can be used to top up ponds providing the concentration is normal (0.5mg/l). The chlorine quickly evaporates. Water with higher levels of disinfectant should be passed through a medium of activated charcoal.
RED LIGHTNING
This product has been designed specifically to degrade pond and lake sludge which precipitates on the bottom and forms a layer or mostly organic debris.
This debris can be an accumulation of fish and plant waste and if left unchecked can detrimentally affect the natural biology and metabolism of the flora and fauna in the pond.
While we can give no guarantee that the product will remove sludge we know that in most cases it will. Product Returns
If you want to return an item that's arrived damaged, we can arrange for the item to be collected from you and we will cover all costs and replace that product if you so wish. Please contact us on the number or email below and be prepared to send us some photographic evidence of the damage.
However, we also allow customers to return entire orders they have had a change of mind. The only stipulation is that the products you want to return haven't been used and reach us in saleable condition within 60 days of receipt and that you've had your return authorised by us before sending the item back BY CALLLING US ON 01235 862540 or emailing us at returns@blanketweed.info Please note that we do not refund the cost of carriage on your purchase or the cost of sending a product back.
Delivery
Your order will be normally despatched by Royal Mail although for larger quantities we may sometimes use a courier service. If a special delivery by courier we will advise at the time of despatch.
